About Bob Palmer

Bob Palmer is internationally recognized as a high performance expert, training and empowering athletes and coaches to ignite the passion in their game so that they own the zone. His SportExcel System is cutting edge and has been embraced by the action sports such as surfing, snowboarding and triathlon, the traditional sports of football and hockey and other diverse sports such as heptathlon, badminton and the shooting sports. The SportExcel system allows athletes to own the momentum of the game from the get-go and to never let it go. There is no ebb and flow or emotional rollercoaster ride; only the Zone. Bob’s system makes high performance tangible because results happen quickly. And over the past 20 years, his athletes have won local, national and international titles. In the 2010 Commonwealth games, four of his athletes won medals—two silver medals and two bronze. In the Olympics, his athletes have reached the podium with gold and silver. Bob writes on peak performance and leadership for Trap & Field Magazine and several on-line magazines and newsletters. He also has two books in the works, an e-book and a hard cover, both aimed at high performance. He is the high performance trainer for the Shintani international karate team, and is currently training for his fifth degree black belt.
